Castle Creations knows that boaters crave more power. Castles Barracuda line already owns the record books, but we have come up with a whole new way to put the power to the water The new HYDRA line of watercooled brushless speed controls for marine applications.
The Hydras use new FETS that offer 50% less resistance than those used in the original Castle Barracudas that means cooler controllers at unbelievable power levels. Weve also added water cooling heat sinks to take these controls to even more incredible power levels.
The Hydra-120 packs a lot of punch, our testing shows that these babies can really handle the current, we've had to put 10 gauge cables on them to handle the amps.
Hydra-240 is a beast. More power on the water than most modellers can dream of. We've doubled the power boards and put two sets of cables on this monster in order to handle two hundred and forty amps!
